Bored of regular Apple Pie? Try this Cinnamon Apple Cake for a change. Make sure to enjoy with vanilla ice cream and some drizzled caramel on top.
Preheat oven to 350°F or 180°C.
Grease and line a 9-inch round cake tin with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, add flour, baking powder, baking soda and sugar. Add chopped apples and stir gently to combine.
In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, vanilla, plain yogurt and oil.
Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and gently, with a spatula, mix only to combine. Add batter into the already prepared cake tin.
Mix together cinnamon, sugar and butter until lumpy and wet.
Sprinkle over cake batter and add walnuts.
Bake for approximately 25-30 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the middle comes out clean.
Let cake cool completely before slicing.
