Now this is majestic! If you love bacon and chicken, this is the perfect recipe for you to cook at home for your friends and family.
Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper and dried basil and rap around each breast 2 slices of bacon.
In a cooking pan, on medium high heat, add half the olive oil and half the butter.
Place chicken breasts with the side where the two ends of the bacon meet and cook for 5 minutes on each side.
Add mushrooms and cook on low heat for 5 minutes, covered.
Remove chicken breasts and mushrooms unto a plate.
Add remaining olive oil and butter to the same cooking pan. Add plain flour and mix well until dissolved.
Add water, lemon and wine to the roux and mix well until getting a smooth texture.
Add cooked chicken breasts and mushrooms into the sauce and cook on low temperature for 5 minutes, covered.
Serve hot and enjoy with a side salad of your choice.
